Join the Bereavement Care team – and make a difference
The growing demand for our service means that we need all kinds of people with all kinds of skills to join our team. Could you be one of them?

We need volunteers for the following roles:

Bereavement Visitors  to join our dedicated team of volunteers supporting bereaved adults and children who live in the local community. You will receive full training and supervision. Find out more about volunteering as a bereavement visitor.

Drop-In Support Helpers  to provide the back-up required at our Drop-In Support Groups – whether it’s making tea, putting out the furniture, greeting our clients or just being there to help out.

Fundraisers  who enjoy coming up with fun ideas for raising money, are willing to get involved with the local community.

Trustees who are responsible for the strategic development of the charity. You must be over 18 years of age and not disqualified from holding the office as a charity trustee.

Administrative Assistants to support our Executive Officer with the day to day running of a busy small office.

Ad Hoc Helpers who can turn out to help with events, such as charity collections at supermarkets or selling Trolley Dash tickets.

Public Relations and Marketing Can you write amazing Press Releases that will get local newspaper editors excited ? They we need you..

Grant Gurus who can compose effective grant applications that will provide substantial funding to safeguard our future.
